Modelresource is pretty excited to have our newest contributor on board. Jadine Cleary, a Calgarian now living in Toronto, has a wealth of valuable experience that can help models make better sense of their bodies.
A former coach with Canada's national synchronized swim team, Cleary says there are a lot of similarities between the aesthetic and mental demands of models and synchro swimmers.
Folio's Alexandre de Bellefeuille sent along the image below. Modelresource liked his description:
"Miss Kelly Craig is in this month's HARPER'S BAZAAR - a special article-editorial about Valentino, shot in France at Château de Wideville, (the designer's castle, 30 minutes outside Paris), by legendary photographer Jean-Paul Goude. If that isn't a fun shoot, what is?"

If you're modelling in Asia this summer there's a very good chance you'll run into one of Pat Collins' models at some point.
The Calgary-based Director of Images has been busy placing girls all over the continent.
Kristin Radcliffe is certainly no stranger to clients there. The brown-eyed brunette has based herself in Asia for years and continues to find a steady stream of clients, which is why she is returning to Hong Kong in June after a three-month stay in Singapore.
Another Images model headed to Hong Kong is Michelle, after a successful stay in Shanghai.
Taylor is going to Bangkok starting in July for a 2.5 month contract, while Alex is off to Osaka next month, after which she is lined up to take in Tokyo and Taipei.
Margarethe, Elizabeth, Bianca, Michelle, Alex and Taylor
Jillian (of whom Modelresource is very fond) is also headed for Taipei for two months starting in August.
Elizabeth and Margarethe, meanwhile, just returned from successful stays in Tokyo and Bangkok respectively, and are waiting to see where the next contract will take them.

Ryan Taylor for Valentino Red
Last week Modelresource told you about the some of the buzz Stylus Canada's women are creating, but the biggest noise right now actually comes from the men's board.
Former high school football player Ryan Taylor booked this season's Valentino Red campaign shot by Mert and Marcus and has images in the latest V Men "Cliff Hangers editorial shot by Will Davidson.
Ryan Taylor in Arena Homme+
Add to that 20 solo pages in the S/S 07 Collections in Arena Homme + shot by David Armstrong and the more than 30 shows booked last season and you know this is a boy whose star is shining awfully brightly right now.
Taylor will be featured Tuesday evening on MTV e2. He was interviewed for the profile piece while shooting for the upcoming issue of Cheek Magazine.
In other news, Darius Corunga (who Modelresource first told you about in September) has JUST confirmed he will be spending the summer in Milan, with top mens agency Joy Models.

Big updates from Stylus Canada starting with a girl Modelresource has been wanting to tell you about for quite a while.
5'11" Natasha Yaroslava is currently stateside, working under the IMG banner. This recent shot by New York photographer Samuel Zakuto suggests good things are in store.
The other update contradicts my wife's long held belief that no good can come of any event that ends in "On Ice" (Disney on Ice, Symphony on Ice, ANTM on Ice...).
Stylus booker Jarrett Plyley found an exception to the rule, following his recent discovery of Sarah Cook (below) during the intermission of a recent Stars On Ice in Toronto.
The 5'11" 15-year-old is orignally from Iqaluit, and according to Plyley "The phones went insane when I sent her Polaroids out. NY loves her! She will be back in Toronto at the beginning of July for the rounds."
When pressed about his attendance at Stars on Ice, Plyley confessed he had a friend appearing in the performance.

Jeannine Bartz, who started with the Vancouver agency just a month ago has already built up a strong portfolio on the west coast, and according to Bell, will be making the rounds in Toronto for a month, starting on the 26th.
James Neate, meanwhile, continues to see good things come his way. As Modelresource told you in March, Neate had a strong show season, and was doing well on the editorial front. Now he can add a Belstaff and Holt Renfrew campaign to his modelling résumé.
Another Liz Bell model we introduced in March, Kate Bock, just shot the Herbal Essence campaign in London before flying off to Budapest to shoot the commercial.

Ever since Geneviève Godbout entered the Elle Canada model search two years ago her career has escalated nicely.
Monday the Folio model made her runway debut in New York, walking in the Christian Dior Resort Collection.
How big of a deal is a resort show? When John Galliano is the designer, Pat McGrath is doing the makeup and Lisa Cant, Coco Rocha, Chanel Iman and Caroline Trentini are sharing the runway, well, it's safe to say it's pretty special.

When you look at the models coming out of Québec lately, it isn't difficult to understand why it's called "La Belle Province."
This remarkable 5'9" brunette just signed with New York's DNA, as well as Viva in Paris.

Irina Funtikova, by Maxime Bocken
It took me a few minutes to figure out how an online fashion magazine can benefit Canadian models. I mean - although visually stunning - it doesn't exactly put tear sheets in the ol' portfolio.
But after speaking to the team behind Cheek Magazine (www.cheekmagazine.com), it clicked: This is a well-planned, fashion savvy group that isn't content to publish just for a Canadian audience (no offence intended, I'm sure). This group wants their work seen by the world.
So from their Adelaide Street office, Julie Miller, Dylan Crawshaw, Lisa White and their crew of contributors and interns are introducing the likes of Irina Funtikova, Reid Kastyn and Jessica Lewis - names familiar to Modelresource readers - to a global audience that wants to up its fashion IQ without the scent strips, inserts and cover prices.
And they're doing it not just with the words and photos that handcuff traditional magazines. This group has flash animation, audio, video and embedded links.
After a year-and-a-half of planning the premier issue went online just three weeks ago, and according to co-creator Crawshaw, the response has been enormous. First time readers are averaging 65 page views per visit. That's especially impressive since the entire issue runs just 49 pages.

rK Stores have launched their latest line, once again assembling some top Canadian talent to make their fashion statement.
Talentco booker Anna Bonthoux sent along notice of a stunning Saskatonian under her watch in Vancouver.
Adrienne Ford started her career in January, and according to Bonthoux "shot several creatives and booked many jobs including, Cuche Bikinis catalogue, Nacional Clothing print campaign, Vuela Magazine editorial, Candace Ang Jewlery look book, Bodog advertisement and the Fall/Winter Obakki Catalogue," before spending two months working in Shanghai.
The 5'11" brunette will be spending her summer in Toronto with Elite.

Kim Cloutier, in Arena
If you've been poring over Canadian fashion mags lately you may have noticed Kim Cloutier appearing in Flare and Elle Canada.
The 20-year-old Québecoise is based in New York these days, and according to her agent - Didier Belleguic of Next Canada - the 5'9" brunette will be featured in the upcoming issues of Flare and Elle Canada once again.

Last month Chantale Nadeau gave Modelresource a sneak preview of her latest model search winner.
Simona is a secret no more, as the 17-year-old is now Models.com's Model of the Week.

Modelling's annual Central Ontario pilgrimage happened Sunday, with scouts from around the world landing in Barrie, Ontario to support International Model Management's Cover Model Search.
We'll have more in the days ahead, but to give you a sense of the importance of this event, check out the some of scouting power that made the trek.

A trio of models of whom Modelresource is rather fond, are finding themselves in demand overseas these days.
Hannah Quick is off to Hong Kong this week, while Jess McEown just recently landed in Milan, where she is working with Joy Models.
You may have noticed Modelresource is now featuring Jenna Judd's postings from Europe. She's actually in Germany right now, but due to some miscommunication Modelresource is playing catch-up, and posting the Spanish missives first.
