Stacey Keenan, the Director of Casting for Mass Exodus, tells modelresource "show preparartions are now in full swing. The sets are almost constructed, the programs are being printed and we have
finished all of the model fittings and wardrobe co-ordination."
"Our PR team have been working on getting press for the show, and have landed articles in
The Sun and Metro. Our website (www.massexodus.ca) has been updated as well- we now have a sneak
peek at some of the designers' work and designer biographies.
Ticket sales have gone amazingly well this year - we are close to selling out! (Tickets are
still available at www.totix.ca.)"
"Next week we are doing model choreography, finalizing stage plans and preparing for the shows. The Press & Industry invite-only show is sold out, we have an amazing audience of agents, industry reps,
photographers, journalists and stylists to name a few."
Modelresource is proud to be sponsoring this, Canada's largest fashion show, and wishes Stacey and everyone else involved much success.

Modelresource swung by Giovanni Models today to meet Marla Boehr.
The Lethbridge, Alberta native has just returned from a hugely successful European run, and stopped in Toronto to do a Lida Baday campaign before returning to Alberta for Easter.
A few weeks ago British Vogue online did a sparkling piece on the 21-year-old Mode Model.
Following our quick chat, Marla did some polaroids with top Canadian makeup artist (and Giovanni artist) Hung Vanngo.
Watch for modelresource's interview with Marla in the coming week.
Thanks to Katie at Giovanni and Kelly at Mode for arranging the meeting.

Lisa Cant being interviewed
following Pink TartanModelresource has been critical of the Fashion Design Council of Canada in the past for not recognizing the value of the models.
Mercedes Australian Fashion Week has brought in Maggie Rizer and Missy Rayder to boost its profile, while international media flocked to Sao Paolo to see the likes of Gisele, Alessandra AmbrÓsio and other big-name Brazilians. The FDCC meanwhile, elected to bring in Columbian designers when the rest of the world was booking Canadian models like Daria and Stam.
This season, modelresource was extremely pleased to see Pink Tartan book Lisa Cant and Agnieszka Wichniewicz for exclusive engagements, and to see Paul Hardy book fellow Calgarian Heather Marks to show off his stunning collection. Both labels received much deserved additional attention as a result of their investments and modelresource couldn't be happier.
