styling: Tasha Cain; hair: Yoichi Tomizawa; makeup: Lottie

"If I had to describe my style, it would be summarized as a muted, unkempt elegance. My girls are generally quiet, always beautiful, a bit dark. Everything is generally clean (in terms of makeup, hair, light) but a little off. Beautiful, sensual, self aware girls in beautiful clothes. I love to shoot in location with natural light."

Casts Models for:
Editorial & advertising. Editorial clients in Canada include Pulp, Glow and Flare.

What you look for when you cast models?
"I generally book a model off of their Polaroids or a face to face meeting. I always try to work with girls who I believe have potential now or in the future. I always work with girls who have a runway presence on the international scene or are about to break out. I always cast models who I think best fit the concept, or will add to the collaboration best."

What turns you off to a model?
"I like to work with punctual and professional teams. I love models who are comfortable in their own skin. Models who move without inhibition and are willing to develop a character and bear their soul are most inspiring. I love working with models who push me to be a better photographer."
